The ideal candidate will be responsible with assisting with pleadings, discovery and client interviews on various cases at the firm. This detail-orientated candidate should feel comfortable with playing a vital role in supporting attorneys with client contact and case management. ResponsibilitiesProvide efficient legal support from a case's inception through resolutionCoordinate with clients by keeping organized schedules and providing timely remindersCoordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties to the caseRequest and review medical recordsConduct client interviews to gather relevant information for casesAssist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions and discoveryMaintain case files and document management systemsReview and analyze documents for discovery purposesWork closely with handling attorneys and other staffQualificationsBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate preferred, but not requiredExperience as a personal injury paralegal preferredKnowledge of Court filing systems such as NYSCEF, PACER and E-lawStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast paced, professional and supportive environmentBilingualThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Paralegal to join our team!
