Robert Half is working with a company in Pleasant Hill seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. This person will play a critical role in corporate operations through a variety of legal and transactional assignments tied to commercial real estate management.Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation and dissemination of Notices to Tenants in breach of lease obligations. Assisting with swift collection documentation in compliance with lease obligations and company policy. Preparing and filing Small Claims and representing the company at hearings. Collaboration with external legal counselors, providing necessary knowledge, documentation, research, and communication. Preparation and review of commercial contracts, such as Letters of Intent, leases, and lease modifications. Showcasing properties to prospective tenants. Interpreting, understanding and communicating contractual responsibilities to colleagues. Conducting in-depth research regarding regulatory compliance requirements. Calendar coordination and drafting correspondence for the CEO. • Producing consistent, high-quality work while being responsive to supervision. Adherence to all company policies. Performing other duties as needed.Skills and Qualifications: Experience with confidential documents, including drafting, researching, and handling. • Excellent organizational skills, deadline management, and ability to prioritize. Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication skills, including proofreading, editing, and writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and OneDrive. Effective time-management, multitasking, and adaptability to changing priorities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision. Maintaining a professional, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor. Ability to work effectively under pressure.Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree or related training is required. Preferable qualifications include 2 years of law school or 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate & contract law.Certificates/Licenses: Possession or ability to acquire and maintain:Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification from an approved program.DRE Salesperson's license.Valid driver's license with no serious infringements in the last 3 years.Active automobile insurance.
