The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite (Excel in particular), and a deep understanding of construction management processes.Key Responsibilities:Oversee facade projects from conceptual design through project closeout, ensuring seamless execution.Manage submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with internal departments for design development and quality control.Align design, engineering, and production with logistical and buildability requirements.Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project and company objectives.Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and relevant stakeholders.Evaluate and price design or field changes, ensuring timely submission and approval of Change Orders.Track and coordinate project elements through comprehensive logging systems.Develop and update project schedules, prioritizing design, production, and installation milestones.Coordinate material procurement and scheduling with a focus on budget, timelines, and quality standards.Monitor fabrication processes to ensure alignment with schedules and project constraints.Oversee site deliveries and installations to maintain schedule adherence.Manage project billing and cash flow, ensuring timely submission and receipt of payments.Facilitate project closeout and expedite retainage release.Required Skills:Strong understanding of the metric system and facade materials (metal, wood, glass, stone).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements:Travel as needed.Ability to perform desk-based tasks and stand for periods during project site work.Qualifications:Valid Structural Engineer license.Bachelor's degree in an AEC-related field (advanced degrees preferred).4-7 years of experience in facade project management or design.
