WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RESPONSIBLE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO PERFORM A VARIETY OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLERICAL TASKS. DUTIES OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT INCLUDE PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OUR CONTROLLER, ASSISTING IN DAILY OFFICE NEEDS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND BE ABLE TO ORGANIZE THEIR WORK.RESPONSIBILITIES:-ANSWER AND DIRECT PHONE CALLS-ORGANIZE AND SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS-CHECK & DISTRIBUTE EMAILS AND FAXES-MAINTAIN A FILING SYSTEM-ASSIST AS NEEDED WITH ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, TRACKING OF CREDIT CARD RECEIPTS-OFFICE SUPPLY INVENTORY AND ORDERINGREQUIREMENTS-ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS-STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILL WITH THE ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK-EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS-MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER-MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE WORK-KNOWLEDGE OF THE PLUMBING/CONTRACTORS INDUSTRY A PLUS-MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN GOOGLE SHEETS, WORD, EXCEL AND OUTLOOKJob Type: Full-timeExperience:customer service: 3 years (Required)administrative assistant: 3 years (Required)Location:Queens, NY (Preferred)Work Location:One locationThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger pictureDependable -- more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsSchedule:Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person
