The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager will oversee the accounts payable function for ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices. This role involves managing a team, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with other departments to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.Accounts Payable Manager ResponsibilitiesSupervise, mentor, and develop the AP team, providing guidance on priorities and goalsOversee the day-to-day operations of the AP function, ensuring workload is distributed efficientlyConduct performance evaluations and provide training to staff to enhance skills and knowledgeManage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursementsEnsure compliance with healthcare industry standards, organizational policies, and government regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX)Monitor and maintain accurate records of vendor accounts, reconciliations, and aging reportsReview and approve invoices, payment runs, and adjustments as necessaryIdentify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies within the AP functionImplement and maintain AP systems and tools to optimize performance and reduce manual effortsDevelop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the AP teamAct as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries and dispute resolutionPartner with the procurement team to ensure proper approvals and compliance with contractsCollaborate with finance leadership to support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reportingEnsure adherence to internal controls and support audit requests as requiredPrepare and analyze AP metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvementStay updated on healthcare regulations and financial practices to ensure organizational complianceAccounts Payable Manager Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a managerial rolePrior experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of accounts payable processes, systems, and best practicesFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP) and healthcare-specific softwareExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationshipsAnalytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and problem-solvingProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Thank you, Allee Struve Recruiting Lead LaSalle NetworkLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
