We are seeking a customer-focused and hands-on IT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects, performing installations, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the smooth operation and advancement of our IT infrastructure. This position is on-site in Holland, MI. Essential Responsibilities:Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving technical issues, providing clear and effective communication, and maintaining a customer-centric approach in all interactions.Team Management: Supervise and mentor a small team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues promptly, providing support to team members and end-users as needed.System Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of IT systems, including servers, networks, security systems, and applications.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, configurations, and project progress.Stakeholder Communication: Consult with internal stakeholders to understand IT needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.Project Management: Lead and oversee IT projects of various complexities from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.Installations: Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Technology Planning: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap, which aligns with company objectives, with monitoring to ensure technology initiatives support business needs.Key Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or similar experience.Proven experience as an IT Manager, or similar role, with hands-on project leadership and installation expertise.Strong technical skills in hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and people skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred SkillsCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar.Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
