You will be responsible for building business contacts and developing revenue streams for a new desk within the company. Candidates must have the ability to analyze and forecast commodity market trends, advise clients on opportunities, make informed decisions and provide appropriate market commentary.Duties and responsibilities:On board institutional, hedge fund, cta, bank, market maker, trade house client business.Ability to successfully leverage existing relationships and cultivate new business opportunitiesManage client relationships focused on futures/options and other related P/L driversProvide relevant market analysis to support hedging and/or trading decisions for clientsMake the business case for expanding the desk and leveraging cross selling opportunitiesQualifications:3-5 years of related experience in ethanol and biofuels, renewablesSeries 3/7 licensed or willing to obtainTransferable book of businessGood knowledge of futures and options marketsAbility to work both independently and in a collaborative environmentHigh work ethic and superior attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compose market and commodity reportsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust be analytical, a problem solver, and customer service orientedEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree requiredSalary: $90,000 - $100,000 USDThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000.The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
