Job SummaryWe are seeking an entry level financial planner for a group of Financial Advisors at Equitable Advisors in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The ideal candidate is one who is ready to grow a career in financial planning in the industry. We value our clients, and our clients value our services.Position Highlights: This individual will work with advisors, providing financial planning and investment services support. Key responsibilities include preparation of financial plans, portfolio administration, reach out to approved vendors for associated investment research and analysis, and coordination of client service needs with team members.Specific areas of focus include:Preparing financial analyses and financial plans for clients.Assisting with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfolios.Providing support for processing client service needs.Assisting with creation and implementation of workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance client experience.QualificationsExperience in the field requiredSeries 7Series 66 (OR Series 63 & 65)Life, Accident & Health License preferred or working towards obtaining certificationB.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or EconomicsStrong analytical skillsCompetence in MS ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter, productive, works well with a team and independentlyAbility to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and requirements Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and track multiple tasksProficiency in Morningstar Advisor Workstation and Morningstar DirectKnowledge of CRM, eMoney, Asset-Map and SalesForceCompensationSalary Range based on experience: $ 60,000 - $75,000 annuallyEquitable Advisors, LLC, member FINRA, SIPC, (Equitable Financial Advisors in MI and TN) and affiliate, Equitable Network, LLC, (Equitable Network Insurance Agency of California, LLC; Equitable Network Insurance Agency of Utah, LLC; Equitable Network of Puerto Rico, Inc.) are Equal Opportunity Employers M/F/D/V.
