Under the direction of the Director of Client Service, the CSA will respond to client inquiries, fulfill requests and support the Advisors meeting preparation and scheduling.Qualifications required:Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceAbility to work in a team environmentStrong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitaskUnderstanding of registered investment advisor compliance rules and responsibilities.Essential functions and responsibilities:Is the direct liaison for all client related inquires; first point of contact for clientsDirectly responds to customer inquiriesCollaborating with the team to resolve customer service issuesAdheres to securities and investment advisor regulatory compliance obligationsGenerates, prepares and maintains internal client files / accounts ; including but not limited to paperwork needs; file structure and investment implementationDemonstrates and promotes Meridian Bank's Core Values: Our Partners, Our People, Our Bank and Our CommunitiesCoordinates specific work tasks with other employees within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of informationAbides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work placeCommunicates with management, other supervisors and employees in order to integrate goals and activitiesCooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Meridian Wealth Partner's compliance programs with all regulatory and state/ federal labor law requirementsMust obtain current certifications and licenses as deemed necessaryValid driver's licenseOther duties as assignedSuccess factors/job competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsMaintain composure under stressReceives coaching and mentorshipStrong organizational and time management skillsSolutions orientedRelationship management skills and ability to interface confidently with associates of all levels, including senior executives, business unit and department headsThrive in a collaborative team environmentApplication Access:Customer Relationship Management3rd Party Custodian ApplicationFinancial Planning SoftwareInvestment / Portfolio ApplicationsMicrosoft applicationsPhysical demands, work environment and location:Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
