They are a fast-growing organization with a strong commitment to innovation, scientific excellence, and patient care.Job SummaryThe Vice President, Finance & Planning & Analysis (VP FP&A) will play a critical role in driving the financial success. This highly visible position will lead the FP&A function, providing strategic financial guidance and support to senior management across all aspects of the company's operations. The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and results-oriented leader with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts, including annual budgets, long-range plans, and quarterly forecasts.Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful commentary on financial trends and variances.Conduct in-depth financial analysis of key business decisions, including M&A, strategic investments, and new product launches.Partner closely with senior management across all departments (e.g., R&D, Commercial, Operations) to understand business objectives, provide financial guidance, and support strategic decision-making.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and bankers.Lead and mentor a high-performing team of financial analysts.Continuously improve financial planning and forecasting processes and systems.Implement and maintain best-in-class financial planning and analysis tools and technologies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.15+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in the life sciences industry (biotech, pharmaceutical) is highly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw insightful conclusions.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
