Certification Lighting Engineer

Job Overview:We are seeking a motivated Certification Engineer to ensure our lighting products meet all regulatory, safety, and energy efficiency standards. You will test and certify new products, maintain certifications for existing ones, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and compliance efforts.Key Responsibilities:UL Certification:Test lighting products to meet UL regulatory standards.Collaborate with product teams to design and certify compliant products.Maintain detailed records of test results and certifications.Monitor regulatory changes and update designs accordingly.Support audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.DLC Certification:Ensure products comply with DLC energy efficiency standards.Prepare and submit documentation for DLC certification.Manage certification processes, including follow-ups with DLC.Stay updated on energy efficiency standards and implement strategies to meet them.Declare Certification:Review materials and formulations for compliance with Declare program requirements.Coordinate documentation for sustainability certifications.Stay informed on trends in environmental certifications and integrate sustainable design practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.Experience with certification testing for lighting products (preferred).Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (UL, DLC, and sustainability certifications).Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work in a team.Work Environment:Office, production floor, and technical lab.Tools & Software:Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.Lab Equipment: Multi-meter, caliper, power supply, oscilloscope, light meter, power analyzer, soldering iron, and temperature monitoring tools.Benefits:Competitive salary.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.Positive and collaborative work environment.
