CGC has offices in London and New York.CGC is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Senior Account Manager to join our growing team in the New York office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, a good communicator, and be passionate about the beauty industry. Contacts across print and digital space in beauty and wellness are essential.CGC's US brand roster includes; Westman Atelier, Summer Friday's, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Sarah Creal Beauty, R.E.M, SLIP.This role is based in our NYC office on a hybrid basis. This role is required in office a minimum 3-days per week.Team structure: Reporting to an Account Director with support from Sr. Account Coordinator and Account Coordinator with team assistantKey Responsibilities:Media outreach and pitching support for Account Director across new launches and core product support across brand rosterStrengthen and manage relationships with key media with regular in-person meetingsCreate seasonal and trend-led press releases and e-blasts to drive placement features, showing proactivity in ideas and themesTeam Oversight - oversee account team in overall administrative support, client workflow and account managementAssist with the creation of both short-term and long-term strategies for clientsConceptualize creative mailers, send-outs, and new ways to elevate launches in partnership with both internal and external teamsSupport in event production across clients inclusive of venue research, vendor identification, guest RSVP management, etc.Creative thinking - Participate in brainstorming and active ideation to bring fresh, trend-driven, and innovative ideas to internal and external teams. Identify, establish, and build on internal processesParticipate in client calls on a weekly or biweekly scheduleRequired Experience / Competencies:Experience with managing external client relationships from a thoughtful and personable perspectiveStrong Beauty media/press contacts preferredExperience in event management and executionExperience in collating and analyzing information to determine success and insightsExceptional communication skills - written and verbalCreative, proactive, and with the ability to employ initiativeHighly organized, with good attention to detailSelf-motivated, deadline focusedAbility to manage budgets (agency and client)Genuine interest in the beauty industry and the US media landscapeProficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and industry analytical/monitoring tools e.g. Cision, Tribe, Meltwater, Sprout, etc.Enthusiastic about supporting the growth of junior team members and interns2-3 years previous experienceBenefitsWe deeply value the health and well-being of our team and we offer all our employees:Health InsuranceFlexible Hybrid Work Environment (3 days in office per week)Generous Paid Time Off and Company Paid HolidaysSummer Fridays
