The Senior Licensing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing licensing strategies that align with Isaac Morris' company goals. This role involves managing and supporting licensing opportunities, negotiating contracts, financial analysis, and managing relationships with licensors to ensure brand integrity and maximizing revenue.In this position, you will be pivotal in increasing profits and market share across retail channels by fostering licensor relationships, building and implementing processes that meet the business needs, forecasting and analyzing sales trends, and working collaboratively to drive the business forward. We work with over 250 licenses and the Senior Licensing Manager will be responsible for supporting accounts like Coca-Cola, NASCAR, Mattel, and many more thriving partnerships! You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, such as, creative, product development, finance, and sales to ensure we are maximizing licensed placement at retail, while driving growth for our current licensor partners. This position is fast paced, multi-faceted, and dynamic; looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is organized, handles themselves well under pressure, is analytical, and can multitask well. Role and Responsibilities:Strategy:• Identify target customer and product categories for potential licensing opportunities, by trend shopping, and competitive shopping to find white space opportunities in apparel (outerwear, swim, fashion, sweaters, etc).• Conduct thorough market analysis to assess competitor licensing activities and identify emerging trends within the fashion industry.Contracts:• Help negotiate current licensing renewals of contracts, must have a senior level of understanding on key factors such as royalty rates, minimum guarantees, and other performance metrics.• Ability to draft, review and renew licensors agreements, deal memos, and term agreements.• Periodically monitor compliance with contract terms, including sales projections, distributions, etc.Partnerships:• Cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and potential licensors.• Maintain relationships with licensing partners, serving as the primary contact for all licensing related inquiries.Financial Analysis and Reporting:• Monitor sales performance of licensed products, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.• Analyze market feedback and sales data to make informed recommendations for improving licensing strategies.• Work with internal systems like AMT and Air Table to pull data on sales, placement, and financial summaries to report to licensors on a monthly and quarterly basis. • Collaborate with finance team to ensure timely processing of royalty payments, MGs, and forecasts. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.• 3+ years of experience in licensing, brand management, or a similar role within the fashion industry.• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful licensing agreements.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.• Familiarity with legal aspects of licensing agreements.• Passion for fashion and a keen understanding of industry trends.
