Head of Technical Advisory, Marketing AdvisoryLocation - Montclair, NJKey responsibilities: Provide C-Suite clients advisory services on technology, tech partnerships and tech organization design.Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the business objectives and industry trendsCultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, industry influencers, and stakeholders to enhance the firm's visibility in the USA market.Function as a thought leader and spokesperson for the firm, in interviews, panels, and public speaking engagements for an industry audience.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to pursue our focus industries and accounts.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.Stay abreast of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to marketing technology in the global markets.Qualifications: Education• Bachelor's Degree: In computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.• Master's Degree (Preferred): An MBA or a master's in technology management or a related field.Experience• Work Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT and technology roles, with a minimum of 5-10 years in a senior leadership position.• Global Experience: Proven experience managing technology functions across multiple countries and regions.• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific industry the company operates in (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).• Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies aligned with business goals.• Consulting and advising: Experience with C Suite and VP level consulting on technology, tech partnerships, and tech organization design. Ideally has advised both an internal C-suite team and with clients as a senior consultant.• Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software development.• Project Management: Experience overseeing large-scale technology projects and initiatives.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.• Financial Acumen: Experience managing technology budgets and optimizing IT investments.Technical Proficiency• Software Development: Experience with multiple programming languages and software development methodologies.• Infrastructure Management: Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including networks, databases, and servers.• Cybersecurity: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.• Cloud Technologies: Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
