With a focus on AV installations since 2006, AtlantisUGS has extensive experience across various settings and markets, serving clients from in the Fortune 100 space.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Audio Visual Technician and/or Field Engineer at AtlantisUGS in New York & NJ Metro area. The role involves daily tasks such as installation of AV systems, including wall mounted TV's & cameras, ceiling mounted video projectors, microphones, WAP's, transmitters & receivers for AV transmissions, table microphones, cable dressing, etc. OSHA 40 is mandatory. This is a construction based position. DO NOT APPLY if you are a sound engineer looking to be a music producer, or if you are a rental and staging technician looking to just set up gear. We focus ONLY on permanent AV installation of systems.QualificationsAudio Visual (AV) Systems and Video Conferencing skills. CTS and /or CTS-I certifications are welcomed.Troubleshooting expertise in audio, video and control systems.Experience with video wall installations, including DvLED video walls.Knowledge of structured cabling and networkingCertifications in AV technology or related field, Biamp, Crestron, AMX, Extron.Strong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPrevious experience in IT, AV, or construction industry
