As we continue to grow,we're looking for a consistent, organized, hard-working, and self-motivated Account Managerwho will manage sales and nurture relationships between the Factory NYC and our wide-ranging clientele.Position Overview:The Account Managerposition is our client's primary point of contact and is responsible for fielding project inquiries, creating detailed quotes, and closing sales as well as fostering client outreach. This position requires a good understanding of building methods and practices of the Exhibit Industry to provide creative solutions to meet our client's needs and budgets. The role involves coordination between clients and various departments to deliver customized solutions that exceed our client's expectations.Position Responsibilities include:Sales & Business Development: Closing sales to achieve yearly and quarterly revenue targets. Estimating projects in their entirety, including materials, labor, logistics, and various associated costs for multiple clients simultaneously. Working with the Production team to determine project feasibility and bandwidth. Identifying and communicating construction methods and value engineering options with clients while maintaining positive relationships. Procuring materials and samples needed to solidify projects. Identify and communicate key project timelines within quotes regarding build time frames and material lead times. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between the client and production team. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives. Conduct client outreach post projects to gather feedback and to initiate additional potential projects. Project Coordination:Create well-formed, successful handoffs to the Project Management team. Collaborate with internal teams including design, engineering, and production to ensure builds are completed successfully and safely. Developing change order estimates and liaisoning between client and production team. Departmental Duties: Participate in project audits to improve pricing strategies. Contribute to the development of new business strategies and marketing initiatives as dictated by the Accounts Director. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project details, and financial transactions. Prepare and present regular reports on quote statuses, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Position Requirements: 1-3+ years of experience in a sales role within an exhibit fabrication environment. Bachelor's Degree in relative field with extensive experience in sales. Similar industries may be considered. Proven experience in a sales role within a fabrication or manufacturing environment. The ability to understand and sell ideas, products, and services that pertain to fabrication in various markets. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to multitask. Excellent customer service skills. Possess the technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client's requirements.Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of the organization while maintaining a culture of positivity and continuous improvement.Strong understanding of all methods of fabrication and the timing it takes to execute.The ability to motivate themselves and their team. What We Offer: Position Type: Full-TimeBase salary of $100,000 per year + sales commission structure of 1.5% of individual quarterly sales revenue that meets company profitability threshold. Issued one quarter in arrears.
