Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our thermal products division. The Thermal Design Engineer position is a Non-supervisory role assisting in the development of HVAC systems using PTC CREO. Position will require working closely with the Thermal Engineer and Sr. Thermal Design Engineer.PRIMARY FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Generate Part Models, Assemblies using PTC CREOCreate and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings using PTC CREOModel plumbing and tubing routing.Model electrical routing.Develop and maintain bills of materials and data listsSelect appropriate materials/components based off service requirementsEnter Bills of Materials into ERP systemPerform drawing revisions with release under ERP ECN systemWork closely with customer, including occasionally presenting to the customerWork closely with Senior Engineering staff to develop new designsWork with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve issuesQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience5 years minimum experience in Product Design using PTC Creo softwareProficiency in Creo Sheet MetalExperience in weldment design and American Welding Society (AWS) symbologyExperience in manufacturing and fabrication methodsExcellent computer skills including but not limited to all MS Office productsMust be energetic, highly motivated, self-starting individual, with a strong capability for self-learning and driven to complete projects.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with HVAC or refrigeration systems.
