Family Law Associate

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Family Law Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in family law, a strong passion for advocating for clients in matters such as divorce, child custody, and support, and must be a member of the California Bar.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic violence cases.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively represented.Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, depositions, and mediation sessions.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and solutions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law developments and legal precedents.Manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively, meeting all deadlines and client expectations.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California Bar in good standing.3-5 years of substantive family law experience.Strong litigation and negotiation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.Compassionate and client-focused, with a commitment to providing exceptional legal service.Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
