This role is ideal for sales talent with 3-5 years of recent experience selling into private equity, M&A or credit markets.About the Company Our client is a market-leading investment research firm. Our client offers and industry leading combination of human insights and unique investor-led content with a global expert network.About the Role The Sales Specialist is responsible for building relationships with new clients and delivering on growth targets. The position will have new business quota responsibilities of large territory/prospective clients.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate the company's proposition across the entire suite of primary research servicesProspect potential clients who fit the onboarding criteria, developing relationships to better understand their broader research needsOversee the new sales cycle from following up on new business leads to closing dealsNurture and track accounts, identify additional opportunities to up-selling and cross-selling during the new account stageSuccessfully transition a new account to account management team including onboarding handoff, introduction to key client stakeholders, etc.Leverage the Sales Associate team for sales support including prospecting and lead qualificationQualificationsProfessional experience selling directly into a B2B market with private equity, M+A, public equity and/or credit firmsDemonstrable ability to follow up on business leads effectively with excellent networking skillsAbility to manage pipeline and forecast accuracy on a weekly basisIntellectual curiosity to grow and maintain competitive knowledge & focusStrong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumenAbility to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (c-level)Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their businessStrong computer proficiencyExcellent organization, written and oral/presentation skillsUnderstanding of larger investment organizations and their needs preferredGreat BenefitsVacation: 15 days (which increases to 20 days after 2 years of service) plus US HolidaysLearning: personal development allowance of $1,150 per yearHealth and wellbeing: a variety of insurance plans, including health coverage by Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Insurance, Dental insurance and Vision plan, plus a personal HSA (Health Saving Account) and Medical FSA (Flexible Spending Account).
