Collectively, we are committed to a simple management approach, which influences our company culture and our management style.Quality Manager - West Chester, OH (Must be able to work onsite in West Chester, OH)Activities and Responsibilities include:Supervise Quality department personnelManage site quality personnel and assist with training, inspection, quality issues, and QMS complianceResponsible for managing and maintaining the AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS), and retention of the registration/certification. Responsible for ensuring the processes are delivering their intended outputs along with the process manager.Responsible for ensuring integrity of the QMS is maintained when planned and implemented changes occur.Responsible for leading Management Review meetings and acting as the Management Representative for that Group.Assist upper management in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and proceduresResponsible for training new employees on quality requirementsResponsible for assuring that all parts adhere to customer requirements, dispositioning nonconforming product as neededResponsible for resolution of quality issues with both suppliers and customersQualification of new vendors with the assistance of the Supply Chain department.Other duties as assigned.EducationA Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePrefer experience within the fastener industryWork Experience:A minimum of 5 years working in quality management at a Sr. Quality Engineer or higher levelExperience reviewing and resolving technical issues from a sales and quality perspectiveExperience managing an AS9100D and ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemPreference for familiarity in (and a working knowledge of) fastener-related specifications such as but not limited to: ASTM, ASME, IFI, MIL, and DINExperience in addressing non-conforming product issues and performing 8D corrective actionsExperience with AIAG PPAP requirements and core toolsTravel up to 40% will be requiredProfessional Skills:Efficient in time management, with the ability to efficiently see numerous tasks through to completionExcellent communication skills across all levels of the organizationAbility to make written and oral presentations to customersStrong understanding of Lean, PDCA, and Continuous ImprovementAdvanced knowledge in blueprint reading, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWe are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled employer.
