Store Systems Hardware SpecialistWe're seeking an experienced hardware specialist to join our team at Rainbow Apparel Company.The hardware specialist main focus is to repair and maintain the returned parts and new parts needed to service the Rainbow Stores and provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction to all Stores.If you have a passion for hardware development, excellent analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you'll be a perfect fit for the team.Objectives of this roleInventory: Maintaining inventory records, purchasing parts, and ordering out-of-stock itemsDelivery: Ensuring parts are delivered to and from the stores on timeCustomer service: Answering customer questions andRecords: Keeping records of customer transactions and parts returned under warrantyCompliance: Ensuring parts comply with company standardsReporting: Reporting shortages, overages, or damaged itemsComputer systems: Keeping computer systems up to dateYour tasksExecute comprehensive testing to validate the performance, functionality, and durability of hardware products.Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware products to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements and quality standards.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware testing methodologies and apply them to improve the overall quality of our products.Provide enterprise-wide Point Of Sale technical support and problem resolution. As neededBe responsible for ensuring POS equipment is installed and tested per documentation at the destination in a timely manner to ensure new store opening or to return existing stores to 100% operational capability.Perform other functions as deemed necessary by supervisor/manager.Required skills and qualificationsTwo year degree (or equivalent work experience)Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, testing tools, equipment, and techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and precision.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred skills and qualificationsStrong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.Multi-dimension technical problem resolutionPersonal computer hardwarePoint Of Sale hardware/softwareUser interfaces (windows, etc.)Fluent in wide range of Point Of Sale computing applicationsSpanish speaking is a plus but not required.
