We have built an incredible team of diverse people over the last 15 years with our global distribution and endless opportunity.As our business continues to grow, we are in search of passionate and talented candidates to join our Account Management team.We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Target team, as a senior-level hybrid role of sales and product development. The Senior Account Manager will be a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who is highly organized, efficient, and driven to succeed. The ideal candidate has a creative background with a strong knowledge of the housewares industry with both sales and product development/sourcing experience. The Senior Account Manager will be able to manage a team of highly motivated individuals, prioritize and delegate workload effectively, as well as drive sales with our key account.Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management mattersManage a team of 3+ Account managers and coordinator, as well as lead CFT collaborationsBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting client and supplier relationshipsNegotiate contracts and close agreements with suppliers to maximize profits, both domestically and internationallyManage the audit/inspection and testing processes with the international teamMaximize sales profitability, growth and account penetration with current accountsAnalyze the market to identify trends and take advantage of opportunitiesAssist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as neededWork with our suppliers to meet product requirements provided by customer; including design specs, material review, packaging requests, and costingManaging communications between our key client and internal teamsForecast and track key account metricsExperience and Qualities:Target Experience required3+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager and Product Development/Sourcing Manager Experience and understanding of the housewares industryExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsBA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant fieldMust be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starterSolid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint)Strong Project Management Skills Must be a team player with a positive outlook Benefits:Competitive pay, based on experience levelPerformance based generous bonuses and raises evaluated annuallyHealth, Vision, Dental Insurance401(k) with matching policyGenerous vacation policy
