HES offers a full suite of consulting services, including Building Energy modeling, Renewable Energy Consulting, Master Planning, Energy Audit, Building Commissioning, and Building Retro- Commissioning. HES is hiring an Energy Engineer to join our team.ResponsibilitiesPerform Energy Modelling: Perform drawing reviews to identify applicable building components, Compile data for inputs into building energy modeling software, Execute building modelingPerform ASHRAE Leve I/II/II Energy Audits: Analyze utility bills and drawings to identify building energy consumption, Conduct onsite energy audits of complex building systems, Identify Energy Conservation Measures, Perform energy savings and cost analyses for project, Generate technical report for deliverables to clientsPerform Retro-Commissioning Studies: Analyze utility bills and drawings to identify building energy consumption, Conduct onsite performance testing of complex building systems, Identify Retro-Commissioning Measures, Perform energy savings and cost analyses for projects, Generate technical reports as deliverables to clientsPerform Building Commissioning: Generate commissioning plan, Perform design reviews of drawings, specifications, and submittals, Create Pre-Functional and Functional Checksheets, Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, Execute PFCs and FCs, Generate systems manual / final commissioning reportsRequirementsBachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities)2 years of experience in the energy engineering fieldExperience with building energy modeling techniquesProficient in Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of energy efficiency technologies, HVAC systems, and renewable systemsExperience with large commercial and multi-family buildings preferred but not necessary.Travel throughout the United StatesPersonal QualificationsStrong analytical, writing, and presentation skillsPassionate for mitigating climate changeCollaborative and a strong team playerSelf-motived with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detailAbility to work independently and without a team environmentEnthusiasm to learn and grow as a professionalJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid HolidaysPaid time offHSA/FSAFinancial AdvisingLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHow to Apply:If you are passionate about energy efficiency and are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply for this position.
