IPPOLITA was founded by Florence born and raised artist Ippolita Rostagno. In 1999, after having identified a void for fine jewelry that could be worn every day, she created a line of her own. Her background in sculpture led her to create a signature language of organic silhouettes and sculpted forms. With shapes imprinted directly on her body, Rostagno has created a line of jewelry that has an unmistakable style and is known for its inherent wearability.In November 2020, Ippolita Rostagno, CEO and Creative Director of her eponymous jewelry brand IPPOLITA, opened her boutique on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. The Chicago boutique represents a conceptual, innovative way of shopping fine jewelry. With its open-selling experience it removes the traditional "behind-the-glass" boundary found in most luxury jewelers. Customers are invited to touch, try on and experience the jewelry in a more intimate, direct way as though opening and stepping into one's personal jewelry box.Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Advisor to join our New York City team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service, foster client relationships, and contribute to the success of our brand. As a brand ambassador, you will embody IPPOLITA's values and commitment to excellence, helping clients discover the beauty and individuality of our collections.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets.Develop a strong knowledge of the IPPOLITA brand and product including brand history, products, materials, and construction.Professionally educate and style customersProvide exceptional service during all interactions: face-to-face, telephone, web chat, email.Capture, update and maintain complete client profiles with the use of clientele tools.Cultivate, maintain and grow client book of IPPOLITA clients.Maintain visual merchandising standards in accordance with monthly VM guides, including floor resets.Participate in regular inventory counts.Support in opening and closing of the boutique & recapping business daily (when scheduled)SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTSExcellent communication skills both in-person and electronicallyExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailDetail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.Pro-active, flexible, and able to adapt/pivot in a fast-paced environment.Minimum of two years' experience in the luxury sales industryAbility to learn new systems quickly including phone, chat system, inventory management system, POS system.Proficient in reading and writing in English.Able to work varied and irregular hours/days including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.Able to stand for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, move and handle merchandise/fixtures within boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.Warm, welcoming personality and a passion for people/relationshipsPast jewelry experience is a plus but not required.The base salary range for this position is $23/hr. - $33/hr., in addition to a lucrative commission structure.
