Job Title: Supplier Development EngineerSalary / Pay Rate$120,000 - $130,000Our client is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to join their innovative team focused on clean, flexible, and affordable electricity production. This role supports their low-volume production team, emphasizing additive manufacturing, post-processing, and generator assembly operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage relationships with outside vendors and track parts and inventory.Oversee the flow of parts through various processes, ensuring efficient production.Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers specializing in additive manufacturing and post-processing.Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable delivery of components.Top Priorities for the First Six Months:Learn all post-processing steps and establish a thorough understanding of the workflow.Build and solidify relationships with outside vendors.Transition manual processes to a systemized approach.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in supplier development, supply chain management, or manufacturing engineering.Strong understanding of additive manufacturing processes and post-processing techniques.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Why Join Us?
