Represent clients in court and before government agencies. Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents. Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and stay updated on current labor law developments. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in labor disputes. Develop strategies for handling labor-related issues and disputes. Work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with ethical obligations and company policies. Participate in professional development and networking activities to foster relationships with potential clients and stay abreast of industry trends.Job DetailsRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with DC Bar (or ability to waive in)1-7 years of relevant experience in ERISA and employee benefits lawStrong understanding of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamInterested in hearing more?
