Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor in Fort Mill, SC to oversee our shipping and receiving operations. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a team to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will collaborate with multiple departments to maintain inventory accuracy, meet shipping deadlines, and uphold safety standards throughout the warehouse.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring smooth operations.Review shipping reports, packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders to prioritize shipments and assign tasks to the team.Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with shipping requirements.Inspect material handling equipment regularly for safety issues or defects, and manage maintenance or repair needs.Ensure that customer orders are shipped accurately, on time, and in full, with proper inventory data entry.Monitor team compliance with warehouse processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Manufacturing Director, and HR to determine and maintain appropriate staffing levels.Manage employee scheduling, including assigning work, coordinating training, tracking breaks, managing vacation schedules, and overseeing overtime.Complete and submit employee timecards for payroll processing.Lead department activities to meet quality standards and ensure timely shipping.Set team performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide training on warehouse management systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and barcode processes.Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Conduct shift meetings to align employees with operational goals and company priorities.Ensure all employees are trained on safety protocols, especially those operating material handling equipment and attachments.Monitor warehouse safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance needs, addressing issues promptly.Train and coach employees to follow company work instructions based on the Quality Management System (QMS) and department KPIs.Report operational issues or concerns to the Warehouse Manager or Manufacturing Director as needed.Qualifications:EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.Effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.CertificationsAbility to obtain forklift or Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification as required by the company.Why Work with Us?
