Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources team is focused on what people need and how to provide it. We are searching for a qualified and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to support the HR Department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Generalist will have both Administrative and Strategic responsibilities and will assist with all HR duties including but not limited to Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Policies and Procedures, accruals, and Payroll Roles & Responsibilities• Provide excellent customer service• Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email• Assist in developing and executing personnel policies and procedures and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations• Assist in the development, communication and interpretation of the policies within the employee handbook. Suggest changes as needed• Assist with PAYCOM and Payroll system - setting up all employee files and maintaining document library (payroll schedules, holiday calendars etc.) for onboarding and performance management • Assist with Employee Relations • Assist with Training and Learning Library (assigning courses to employees) • Assist with open enrollment • Create job and maintain a library of up-to-date job descriptions for all positions• Post open positions, recruit, screen hire and launch onboarding to ensure a smooth process and a great employee experience for new hires• Manage the applicant tracking system • Assist in administering benefits, compensation and employee performance programs• Monitor employees on Leaves of Absence/ Workers compensation/ Disability • Act as primary backup to the Director of Human Resources • Assist with drafting/sending announcements to staff • Work with Payroll/Finance as needed • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying etc.• Perform ad-hoc administrative duties.Qualifications/Experience:• Must be wiling to work in office 5 days/week 8:00AM-3:30PM• Bachelor degree in business or a related field preferred• Preference given to those with Paycom experience• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Human Resources Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications.
