Product Development Coordinator

Adecco Creative and Marketing is partnering with a leader in the gift, stationery, and home decor business. We are a family owned and operated business based in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator. As a Product Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for all organizational aspects of Product Development.Salary expectation: $60,000- 65,000 a year. Schedule would be 4x a week onsite 9AM-6PM Mon-Thurs in office, Friday WFH.The main responsibility of this position will be:Product development liaison to factoriesReviewing samples daily with the PD leadCommunicating comments to overseas suppliers and completing the entire sample approval processRequesting, receiving, and tracking product samples from factoriesOrganizing, proofing and sending out production artWorking with designers to update production art and send updated production art to factoryCustomer PowerPoint presentationsCustomer Selling reportsSending out domestic and international shipmentsHands on sample organizationOther responsibilities will be:Submitting own trend ideas for trend meetingsEnsuring timely arrival by following up with factories according to timelinesReviewing entire "samples not approved" list once a week and follow up with factoriesProduction notesProofing factory PDF proofsTracking sample changes and editsAssisting with sourcing and costing needsMust have at least 2-3 years of experience with sourcing and/or product development. Candidates must be highly organized, proactive, and able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are also required. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
