(see E Ink ¦ Our Company)About the position:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our team in the development of ePaper display products. This role requires a strong background in engineering, with expertise in product development, design, and testing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success, from concept through to commercialization.Responsibilities:Develop product requirements in collaboration with business unit and product and platform development teamsDefine lead vehicles for product evaluationCoordinate prototype builds of the lead test vehicle for end product-level evaluationDeliver customer demos to support the business unitEvaluate product performance against requirements - identify and develop new test methods as neededDeliver integrated end product performance against requirements at technical reviewsDevelop and maintain documentation of product performance and test resultsDevelop and optimize product specifications in collaboration with Operations and Quality and report capability against specificationsWork with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product development plansSupport root cause analysis to identify and address potential design and manufacturing issuesLead product and platform lifetime and shelf-life testingQualifications:BS Degree minimum in Engineering or Technical field required (Mechanical, Materials, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering desired)3+ years' experience in product developmentSome programming experienceDemonstrated experience with statistical analysisExperience transferring a developed product component to high-volume manufacturingComfortable working in a fast-paced, self-managed environmentExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quicklyStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsDemonstrated strong documentation and organization skillsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicPreferences:Experience with outsourced or offsite manufacturingBenefits:Competitive total compensation packageMedical, dental and vision on 1st dayCompany 401K match20 PTO daysGenerous sick leave policyCasual day to day work environmentHybrid/flexible work environment (for some positions)E Ink is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
