Manufacturing Engineer

This position is a part of the Operations team, with the ambition to support, challenge and develop each other on a daily basis.As our Manufacturing Engineer your mission will be:To lead the Mechanical Designers within the production team, perform mechanical design day-to-day activities, and technical in-process product decisions related to manufacturing and delivery of customer orders such as material selections, issues, and deviations. Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and on-time-delivery, in conformance with established company policies and procedures. Collaborate with engineers and production team members to create, review, and modify product models and drawings, bills of material, and design changes. Encourage safety and supports all continuous improvement activities and projects. Sets processes and standards for Mechanical Designers, including and not limited to certifications and qualifications, success measurement criteria, training plans and schedules, methodologies, reporting tools, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitors compliance with company policies and standards, incorporating effective change and risk management controls.Manages and maintains Engineering data, including product item data in the company ERP and CAD systems, ensuring all essential materials are current, properly recorded, and stored.
