JOB DESCRIPTIONServe as a liaison between sales, customer service, design, sourcing, and quality control teams, ensuring smooth progress for all sales and production ordersInitiate and manage entry of production purchase orders, coordinating all details with suppliers by country and brand, and monitor schedules for on-time delivery, with a keen understanding of our retail partners needsCollaborate with sales, design and sourcing teams to develop monthly line development plans, strategize target wholesale prices, and achieve relevant price pointsOrganize and lead weekly cross functional meetings with management to review production status, address outstanding issues and proactively resolve delays or quality concernsOversee WIP (work-in-progress) tracking, including incoming container schedules, ensuring timely delivery by monitoring all production POs and cross-referencing open PO reports within two weeks of X-factory datesEnsure the Tracking of PP, and TOP (top of production) samples against design specs and bulk swatches, are completed timely and on calendar, ensuring compliance with quality standardsCollaborate with QC to address quality issues, communicating updates to sales and ensuring all changes re reflected in the systemManage sample requests from buyers and maintain organized sample rooms. Place and monitor sales sample requests for timely receiptGain awareness of key customer floor-ready requirements and manage the reconciliation of past ETD (estimated time of delivery) reportsQualificationsMinimim 5-7 years of experience in apparel production, planning, sourcing, or merchandisingEducation in Apparel Production, planning, merchandising, logistics or related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, excel, PowerPoint) and PLM software; experience with Simparel/Extena is preferred.Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills with experience managing overseas factories and working across time zonesKnowledge of fabric and garment construction, as well as technical expertise in tracking production and resolving issues multiple countries.
