Job SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Superintendent (Electrical) to join the $4.2 billion New Terminal Project at JFK Airport. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for providing support to the Project Managers and Superintendents and responsibilities include but aren't limited to: performing field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team, and reinforcing communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating and modifying project schedules, providing additional insights on weekly guidance and rationale for contingencies.Join on-site reviews with General Contractors to better understand scope and required coordination for a job.Perform field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team.Reinforce communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.Coordinate with project management to ensure timely completion of change orders.Aid in recognizing and resolving on-site challenges and issues.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.2-5 years of construction experience including large projects, CM at Risk and/or Design-Build.Airport experience is a plus, but not required.Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.Salary: $100,000-$125,000Company OverviewIslandSearch Group, Inc. is an architecture, engineering, construction and environmental consulting and staff augmentation firm that was established in 2018.
