US Payroll Specialist

Global non-profit is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their New York-based payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data is processed in Workday or the provider's payroll processing system for the U.S. You will be responsible for preparing various accounting papers, schedules, exhibits, and summaries for audit and compliance for the U.S, accounts reconciliation adhering to the payroll calendar, addressing employee inquiries, support payroll changes, prepare monthly documentation and more. We are seeking a strong payroll professional who enjoy being an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree, strong analytical skills, strong experience in Workday and other processing systems and can work in a fast-paced environment. This is not a management opportunity.
