Job Overview - Employee Benefits Account Manager: Join our client in East Providence, RI, as an Employee Benefits Account Manager, managing prospect marketing and client accounts, guiding coverage negotiations, and ensuring top-notch service. This full-time role requires proactive client engagement and strategic carrier negotiation to shape client benefits programs.Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000/year + bonus Location: East Providence, RI Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMResponsibilities as the Employee Benefits Account Manager:Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and execute scheduled outreach through email, calls, and LinkedIn, maintaining a working list of prospects and renewal dates.Account Management: Manage new business and renewals, carrier communications, BOR letters, and coordinate with Client Service Administrators for timely follow-through.Coverage: Analyze and negotiate coverage needs for clients, leveraging carrier relationships to secure optimal benefits packages and renewal terms.Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors, acting as a resource on technology, HR, and compliance topics.Collaboration: Lead and support Employee Benefits and Property and Casualty team members, offering technical guidance and ensuring cohesive, high-quality client service.Qualifications for the Employee Benefits Account Manager:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.Experience: 3+ years of Account Management experience in employee benefits, insurance, or a related industry.Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strategic mindset for prospecting and negotiation.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (benefits administration systems is a plus).Knowledge: In-depth understanding of employee benefits, insurance policy provisions, and applicable compliance laws.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
