This role is critical in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, driving a culture of safety excellence, and minimizing risk.Job Duties:Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Conduct thorough risk assessments, implement control measures, and investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences.Deliver impactful safety training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety awareness and ownership.Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and ensure compliance through proactive measures and timely audits.Develop and execute robust emergency response plans, including evacuation drills and crisis management procedures.Mentor and develop the safety team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.Utilize data analytics to identify trends, prioritize efforts, and measure the effectiveness of safety initiatives.Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative safety solutions and leveraging industry best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of progressive safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
