Principal Radio Frequency Engineer

Job Title: Principal RF Engineer Terms: 6 months' contract-to-hireLocation: Woburn, MA (Onsite)Pay Rate: OpenReferral Bonus: $500YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign RF circuits using simulation tools such as: Microwave Office, Visual System Simulator, HFSS, ADSExercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsTest, tune, debug and optimize prototype circuits and components to meet specification requirements and manufacturing produce-ability requirementsWrite test proceduresTroubleshoot circuits on test bench and simulationGenerate technical volumes for proposal effortsPartner with the organization in the scheduling of development projects, including process development, fixture design and implementation, material procurement and customer interface (design reviews)Assist Product transition from Engineering to Manufacturing, including writing Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP)Provide mentorship to less experienced EngineersAbility to work in a team environmentQualifications:HOW TO SUCCEEDBachelor's Degree in EngineeringEight (8) + years of experience in RF DesignEight (8) + years of experience with AWR/ADS/HFSS circuit simulation experience or equivalentEight (8) + years of experience understanding RF parameters: S-parameters, Noise Figure, Intercept point, Compression, Spurious and Phase NoiseMaster's in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in the technical areas stated aboveThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
