Operational Accounting ManagerPosition OverviewThe Operational Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting functions within the manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. This role is pivotal in managing financial operations, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including GL, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate inventory accounting and cost management.Assist in the development and implementation of ERP systems to streamline financial processes.Prepare financial analysis to support management in strategic decision-making.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proven experience with General Ledger (GL) and ERP systems.Strong managerial skills with experience leading an accounting team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice to have: Experience with Epicor, Inventory Accounting, and Cost Accounting.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
