Position: Controls Engineering ManagerPosition OverviewThe Controls Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of control systems for industrial machinery and equipment. This role will require strong technical skills and leadership abilities to manage a team of control engineers and ensure the successful completion of projects within established timelines and budget constraints.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a team of control engineers and provide technical guidance and support as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop control system specifications and requirementsDesign and develop control system architectures using CAD softwareTroubleshoot PLC/HMI issues and develop solutions to improve system functionalityProgram and integrate PLC/HMI systems using Sysmac Studio/CXOne, GX Developer/GX Works/GT Designer, KV Studio, and GP-Pro EXIntegrate industrial robots for spot welding, MIG welding, handling/packaging, and other applicationsWork with popular industrial robot brands such as Fanuc, Yaskawa Motoman, OTC Daihen, Panasonic, and OmronDevelop and maintain safety protocols for control systemsManage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost-effectivenessStay updated with industry trends and advancements, and implement new technologies to improve control systemsProvide training and support to team members and other departments as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in control engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleStrong knowledge and experience with CAD software and PLC/HMI troubleshooting and programmingExperience with Sysmac Studio/CXOne, GX Developer/GX Works/GT Designer, KV Studio, and GP-Pro EXExpertise in integrating and programming industrial robots from popular brands such as Fanuc, Yaskawa Motoman, OTC Daihen, Panasonic, andBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
