Position SummaryInternational Steel & Counterweights LLC ("ISC") is searching for an experienced Human Resources professional to serve as the company's Human Resources Business Partner. ISC is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMG Resources Corporation ("AMG Resources") that fabricates steel counterweights. The HR Business Partner will support ISC's HR department while also serving as a liaison between the company's HR, operations and commercial teams.This is a part-time, hourly position with the expectation of 30 hours per week. The HR Business Partner will be required to be in the Youngstown office three days per week (8-hour days) and available for remote work an additional six hours per week.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert for all HR matters.Support ISC's HR Generalist with respect to all employee matters including hiring, performance, discipline, payroll and benefits. Align staff to business objectives.Create and implement strategies to address HR challenges. Communicate management's goals to the HR team.Manage all aspects of employee recruiting, including working with outside recruiters to address company staffing needs and provide feedback about recent hiring successes and challenges.Draft new HR policies in accordance with organizational goals, industry trends and labor laws and regulations.Serve as the liaison with the AMG Resources legal & HR teams.Counsel and train supervisors in HR best practices.Moderate employee and employee/supervisor grievances.Update and maintain job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.Required Education/Experience/SkillsBachelor's degree in HR related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or other industrial setting.Proven work experience in an HR leadership role.Availability on weekends, evenings and early mornings as needed. Experience with payroll and human resources information systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.Excellent organizational and communication skills. SHRM certification or other relevant HR certification. CompensationA competitive wage is negotiable following successful selection process.
