Senior Accountant Direct Hire role with our client North of Pittsburgh, PA.Workplace Type: On-siteKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepares, reviews, and posts journal entries in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesAssists in the coordination of the month-end close processReviews accounting records and transactions for accuracy, adequacy of supporting documentation, and compliance with company policyMonitors, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accountsParticipates in the timely preparation, review, and distribution of monthly quarterly, and annual financial statements including, but not limited to, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, local management reports, cost allocation reports, and capital expenditures reportingDevelops and prepares relevant, meaningful, and comprehensive management reports which provide comparisons to budget and historical trendsActively supports the annual financial audit processCommunicates and presents results to local and upper managementProactively identifies areas for potential improvement in the Finance & Accounting DepartmentOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA or MBA preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experienceDemonstrated analytical skills and innovative approach to problem-solvingExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of presentationsAbout Precision Recruiting Solutions Group® - PRSG® puts precision first in identifying and placing the right talent in various functional areas on a consulting, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire basis.
