What's the job?Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, the Marketing Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders ensuring the successful delivery of comprehensive marketing projects that drive CertainTeed & Saint-Gobain Business Units growth and enhance our brand presence. The Marketing Account Manager acts as a liaison between the internal Marketing team and the Business Units, "˜owning' the relationship and projects end to end, with the goals of 1) fostering trust; 2) developing strategic Integrated Marketing plans and advertising campaigns to drive the business forward; and 3) delivering exceptional service to enhance relationship loyalty and satisfaction, ensuring goals are met.We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, empathetic, and proactive professional to join the Corporate Marketing organization in a role that requires a strong understanding of the marketing and advertising trends within the construction and building industry. Digital and traditional channel mix experience is a plus. An account manager with a do-what-it takes attitude who can wear various hats from crafting annual Marketing Plans, Identifying Must win Battles , Planning an annual media spend road-map, to brainstorming as needed, evaluating if creative ideas meet the Business Units need and supporting the internal creative or channel owner teams.The position demands a great Marketing and Advertising knowledge on the journey of anticipating CertainTeed Business Unit's needs, address feedback and deliver complete campaigns and any form of content/ads supporting their needs, on time, to bolster marketing impact.The work will often be on multiple projects (and brands). Attention to detail, executive presence and organizational skills are essential so nothing slips through the cracks. It is imperative that this individual is detailed-oriented, can anticipate and solve problems, build trust, meet stringent deadlines, and manage scopes of work.The candidate should have a track record of generating results proven with data. A resilient, detail-oriented and adaptable communicator that will be CertainTeed Business Units best partner and deeply understand their customers, sustainable construction solutions, products, key markets, challenges and growth opportunities to deliver bespoke campaigns and marketing plans that go above and beyond to drive business growth.What will you do?Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Units, to understand their business objectives and translate them into marketing plans and advertising strategies that meet their goals, ensuring their satisfaction with our shared services.Conduct regular meetings to discuss ongoing projects, gather feedback, and identify new opportunities.Manage project flow from intake and briefing through launch, managing expectations, creative teams and partner agencies along the way.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Business Units, serving as the main point of contact for daily communication and project updates.Proactively address and resolve any concerns or challenges, escalating issues to the director of Integrated Marketing when necessaryIntegrated Marketing Strategic Planning and Market Research:Strategic thinker capable of helping guide the development of a brand's strategy, annual plans, and projects with multiple stakeholders including internal and external agency partners for the dedicated Business Units.Collaborate with them to develop marketing strategies and communication plans that support their business goals and objectives.Work with Customer Insights team to review existing VOC or conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to be on top of innovative marketing solutions. Share insights and recommendations with Business Units to help them stay ahead of the competition.Develop and present comprehensive marketing plans and proposals. Focus on value solutions (beyond product) that enhance customer partnerships and create marketing materials that showcase these solutions at CertainTeed, beyond individual products.Continually build understanding of competitive environment to help evaluate and craft creative recommendations the different Business Units product and solutions.Integrated Marketing Campaigns, Collateral & Ad-hoc Projects evangelism and coordination:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Facilitate Kick off meetings with Business Unites and Corporate Marketing team to discuss intakes and IMC briefings, ensuring alignment around needs, deliverables, and expectations.Work with the Creative Operations Manager and internal channel owner teams to create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Support internal team on allocation resources, project prioritization and manage workloads effectively, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure cohesive project execution.Ensure campaigns and creative delivers strategically on the briefs and brand objectives.Monitor Paid Media budgets and allocations with channel owners, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.Support channel owners with content creation, community management, timelines, and researchCampaign Performance:Own IMC end to end and work with channel owners to ensure our MBR's and QBR's are representative of all the support, highlights, lowlights of our campaigns supporting the Business Units and include recommendations for ongoing optimizations or test and learn opportunities.Understand analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure campaign effectiveness.Help as needed to prepare detailed performance reports, present findings, and distribute as needed.What do you bring?Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, media and communication, or relevant experience in the required field.Must have experience in account management preferably within a marketing or advertising agency plus know project management tools such as , paid media dashboards and monitoring tools and methods, e.g., Meltwater.5-7+ years of experience in advertising or marketing experience in a client-facing/account management role within an agency environment.Experience managing 360 Integrated Marketing campaigns with six to seven-figure monthly media spend.Proven track record of managing and growing client accountsFamiliarity with both digital and print marketing strategies in the building industry.Multicultural marketing experience a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
