Director of Nursing

LeaderStat is partnering with a successful Senior Living provider in the Springfield, OH area who is looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead their clinical team. This facility boasts a heavy clinical support team as well as corporate support. If you are passionate about resident care, staff education, and would like to be a part of a tight-knit team, we would love to hear from you!Qualifications: Active RN license in Ohio2-3 years as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing FacilityStrong knowledge of State regulationsStable tenure in previous rolesDedication to the wellbeing of residents and a passion for staff educationDirectors of Nursing are responsible for leading and supervising a nursing unit. This position is ultimately responsible, and accountable, for the nursing care received by residents. This role with report to the Nursing Home Administrator.Specifically, Director of Nursing job duties include:Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessaryOverseeing hiring, firing, and development of nursing staffCommunicating with families, residents, and physicians as neededDeveloping a business plan and budget for the nursing unitParticipating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followedEnsuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulationsThe Director of Nursing will have excellent support, and is offered a generous yearly compensation and benefit package!
