Desktop Support Technician

Position location: Lynn MAOnsite required: Yes, 5 Days per weekPosition Duration: 3-5 MonthsThis is a temporary role tasked with reconfiguring Xerox printers with new IP address.Most printers will follow the same procedure, but basic networking and troubleshooting skills would be preferred. Resource may be occasionally asked to work non-standard hours as required by workload and device location. Some weekend work may be required.Skills required:Basic NetworkingAbility to walk long distances Work in a industrial environmentFollow safety procedures within the plantAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to track and complete work tasks and work independentlyAttention to DetailWorking with a project manager for updates, communication and task/deliverablesThis is an onsite position at a large manufacturing campus. It will require strict adherence to all security and safety procedures for the plant.Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.Possess excellent communication skills in English.Demonstrate creativity and clear thinking when problem-solving using gained expertise and industry knowledge to form sound workable conclusions.Be comfortable working both effectively in a large manufacturing environment and independently based on the task at hand.Must be able to walk long distances, climb stairs, and wear safety shoes.This position requires US Person only.
