We are partnering with a dynamic and creative architecture firm that is looking to hire an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join their team and help them manage the human resources function in a way that supports their values and business objectives.The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources focusing on employee relations, recruitment, talent development, performance management, and compliance. This role will act as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring a positive workplace culture, optimizing the employee experience, and supporting the firm's overall business goals. The HR Manager will also play a key role in fostering diversity and inclusion within the firm and ensuring that we are attracting and retaining top talent.Key Responsibilities:Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and build effective strategies to attract top talent, especially in architecture and design-related roles.Maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies to expand the talent pipeline.Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.Promote and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.Collaborate with managers to ensure they have the tools and support to effectively manage their teams and address performance issues.Develop and implement training programs related to performance management, leadership development, and skills enhancement.Administer compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and equity-based compensation (if applicable).Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.Monitor industry trends and ensure that the firm's compensation and benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with employee expectations.Ensure that all HR practices are compliant with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.Keep up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations that may impact the firm.Manage employee documentation, such as contracts, performance reviews, and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.Identify opportunities for professional development and create programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of HR management experience, preferably within the creative or architecture/design industry.Experience managing HR functions in a mid-sized (50-100 employees) firm or organization is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants for employment regardless of race, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, color, religion, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected factor.
