Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.Duties and Responsibilities:Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by implementing, monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.Monitoring quality testing and identifying gaps in the testing, recommend and implement appropriate countermeasures & reoccurrence prevention measures.Overseeing the quality assurance team & establishing & implementing control plans in operations.Supervising and guiding inspectors, technicians, problem solving teams and other staffTraining other employees on quality procedures.Managing quality reports and documentation.Collecting and analyzing quality assurance data & recommending action plans based operational performance data.Working with both internal and external suppliers to ensure the quality of products meet or exceed established standards.Develop and roll-out an enhanced Quality Management System.Performs quality auditsQualifications:Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant roleThorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standardsExcellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methodsExcellent Interpersonal and communication skillsGreat attention to detail and a results driven approachExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCritical thinking skillsTechnical skills and comfort with databases and report generation softwareUnderstanding of quality assurance processes and standardsLeadership and teaching skillsGood knowledge of MS Office Suite applicationsEducation Requirements:Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in a Technical Educational BackgroundPreferred Six Sigma Black BeltYears of Experience:Minimum 5 years Quality Management experience
