The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator for our academic general internal medicine group in the Department of Medicine. This position will be 90% FTE at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the Clinical Scholar (non-tenure) pathway. The successful candidate will:Deliver high value primary care in a patient-centered medical home settingTeach, evaluate and mentor medical students and resident physiciansParticipate in divisional and departmental efforts to improve care delivery and medical educationQualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, a commitment to a career in academic general internal medicine, excellent communication skills, and a record of engagement in teaching and service.The University of Vermont Medical Center and the University of Vermont are located in Burlington, VT - a vibrant community in the Green Mountains that is consistently rated as one of the best small cities in America.
