Closing Officer

Salary: $60k-65k (depending on experience)If they do not have are not a Notary or have a Maryland/Pennsylvania Title License - $62k starting. (Will help them get both)Once they get MD/PA Title License and a notary they will be bumped to $65k If they already have both they will start at $65k Closing Officer Job DescriptionOur client is a Top 5 US homebuilder and is heavily committed to quality and their customers. Our client has 400,000 new homes sold and built across the country. Their ability to manage teams, acquire land, manufacture materials, provide mortgages to customers, and offer corporate support is what makes our client a multi-billion-dollar business operation.As a Closing Officer with our client, you will be responsible for managing customer settlements and assisting with the processing of customer files. You will also contribute to the success of our business and impact our customers by leading the branch office's customer service and customer capture efforts. This position is based on-site at our client's office. Day to Day Responsibilities ?Contact all customers to discuss the benefits of our services with the goal of earning their settlement businessContact all customers to educate them on the benefits of owners' title insuranceMonitor and conduct settlements, reviewing all transactions and documents and gathering all required signaturesCreate and manage customer service initiatives and provide reporting to branch/operations managersMeet quarterly with builder sales representatives and personnel to provide relevant training/information to better inform them in their customer meetingsQualifications1+ years of sales experience preferred 1+ years conducting settlements preferred or relevant industry experienceMust be able to obtain a Notary Commission and Title Insurance LicenseExcellent customer service skills and strong oral/written communication skillsStrong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskProficient with Microsoft suite
