Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Client-Facing Substation Engineer. This role involves leading projects and serving as the primary point of contact for individual clients, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Act as the lead coordinator for various substation projects, managing communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams.Attend meetings with clients, requiring occasional travel to project sites and client locations.Design and oversee high voltage substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.5-15 years of relevant experience in high voltage substation design, with a strong emphasis on client interaction.Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.Proficient in AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation, with a strong understanding of CDEGS, WinIGS, or similar programs for lightning and grounding studies.Demonstrated ability to assess mechanical forces and thermal effects of high fault currents on rigid bus systems.Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record of promoting and maintaining workplace safety.Ability to adapt to project-specific schedules that may require extended hours.
