Our client, a global leader in the sterilization & autoclave industry, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Design Engineer as they expanding their team in Southampton, PA!In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing stand-alone, distributed I/O, SCADA, and network-based control systems for custom-built environmental testing equipment serving the Automotive and HVAC sectors. Our clients include industry giants such as NASCAR, IndyCar, F1 racing, Trane, and Carrier!This position offers exceptional growth opportunities, tailored for self-motivated individuals skilled in designing complete control systems, including panel assemblies, wiring diagrams, and schematics.If you excel in designing and drafting electrical systems and seek an opportunity to work with a knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive team to further develop your skills, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Create and design complete control systems, process equipment, and motor controls, including panel assemblies, wiring diagrams, and schematics using Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical.Utilize knowledge of PLC control systems and control panel design to contribute effectively to project outcomes.Apply working knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC, NFPA, and UL508A in design and documentation processesAssist in identifying problems in existing designs, recommend approved changes, and document modifications.Coordinate with the mechanical design team to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.Provide technical support to electrical technicians and assemblers during assembly and installation processes.Assist test engineers in component and bench testing activities.Candidate Qualifications:3+ years designing electrical control systems, including panel assemblies and schematics for industrial or custom equipment.Must have proficiency drawing in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical preferred.Experience working in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Control panels, Process equipment and Motor controllers.Experience in designing stand-alone, distributed I/O, SCADA, and network-based control systems.Ability to apply electrical/electronic theory to design, modify, and evaluate complex systems.Familiarity with electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA, UL508A).Salary: 90,000 - 120,000Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5pmLocation: Southampton PA (Onsite)Benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, 401K with Company Match, PTO, Basic Life, Long Term Disability, Work-Life Balance, Quarterly Employee Events, Tuition Assistance.If this sounds like your profile, please apply and one of our specialized recruiters will connect with you!Follow us on LinkedIn:
